I’m working on an idea for a healthcare information website focused on digestive health and I’m thinking about the best way to organize the content in Webflow.
The website would need to serve different types of visitors. Some people may be researching digestive disorders, while others may be looking for information about gastroenterologists, hospitals, treatments, or medical procedures.
Possible content sections could include:
Gastroenterology hospitals
Gastroenterologists
Digestive disorders
Treatment information
Liver and pancreas conditions
Endoscopy and colonoscopy
Gastrointestinal procedures
Patient education
Healthcare resources
From a Webflow CMS perspective, I’m wondering whether it would be better to create separate CMS collections for hospitals, doctors, conditions, treatments, and procedures, or use a smaller number of connected collections.
For example, a condition could be connected to related treatments and procedures, while a hospital could have information about its specialties and services.
The main goal would be to make the site easy to navigate while keeping the CMS manageable as the amount of medical information grows.
For people who have built large directory or healthcare websites in Webflow, how would you structure the CMS and navigation?
