At Appsrow, we are starting to rethink how Webflow sites should be built in a world where AI search is becoming just as important as Google.
Search is no longer only about rankings. A growing part of discovery now comes from AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, which summarize and recommend content directly.
To adapt to this shift, here is what we are focusing on right now:
1. Clear site structure
We are designing Webflow projects with a stronger content hierarchy so AI systems can easily understand relationships between pages. This means structured navigation, logical page flow, and well-defined content layers.
2. Content that is easy to interpret
We are writing and structuring content in a way that is easy for both users and AI models to process. Clear headings, direct explanations, and minimal ambiguity are becoming a priority.
3. Schema implementation
We are adding structured data like Article, FAQ, and Organization schema wherever it makes sense. This helps machines understand context beyond just visible content.
4. Topical depth over keywords
Instead of targeting isolated keywords, we are building complete topic coverage. The goal is to demonstrate authority on a subject rather than ranking for single search terms.
5. FAQ driven pages
We are seeing better alignment with AI search when pages include well-structured FAQs that answer real user questions in a conversational format.
6. Strong internal linking
We are improving how pages connect with each other to help both users and AI systems understand context and relevance across the site.
7. Performance and clean code
Fast loading pages and clean HTML structure are still important, but now they also support better content parsing by AI systems.
This is still an evolving space for us at Appsrow. We are testing continuously and observing how AI platforms surface and interpret Webflow content.
I am curious how others in the Webflow community are approaching this shift.
